Our Concierge Service

We always planned to offer some sort of ‘meet and greet’ option for guests rather than them just collecting the keys for their holiday accommodation, but as time went on, guests asked for more help planning their stay and so the offering has evolved.

In 2018, we introduced our concierge service to help everyone staying but developed this service from 2019. Guests can enjoy additional housekeeping and linen changes during their stay.  We can arrange newspaper deliveries, organise bookings to tourist attractions and restaurants or prepare onsite activities such as horse riding or a personal chef to cook dinner.  Our team will be happy to unpack supermarket deliveries for you as well as collect your orders from our excellent local butchers, bakers and fishmongers. 

Our service also includes the opportunity to have a private tour with our general manager to learn more about the restoration of the Main Hall.

Introducing our concierge service has meant that guests can enjoy a 5* service from the point of booking until they leave us. And this is all included within the holiday price.

We introduced many activities for guests staying in 2019 but we are constantly adding to the list as new opportunities arise and local businesses set up, inspired by lockdown and diversification.

Our current activities include:

• Clay pigeon shooting

• Bike hire

• Archery

• Horse riding

• Sailing

• Bushcraft

• Paddleboarding/paddleboard yoga

• Trapeze yoga in the woods

Our Executive Chef will cook meals for guests staying or we can arrange a drop off menu.  Picnics and afternoon teas are also available.

In September of this year, we built a new Pontoon to help our guests enjoy wild swimming and canoeing. 

These improvements have been hugely popular. As a result, we have plans to enhance our guests' stay further with tennis courts and plans for a swimming pool within the next two years.
