The Steward’s House
The Steward’s House is a 3 three bedroom and 3 bathroom cottage on two floors. On the ground floor there is a well equipped solid oak handmade kitchen and dining area which leads on to a private courtyard garden. It has a superb master bedroom and bathroom which also leads on to the courtyard garden. There is a cosy sitting room on the first floor.
The Steward’s House
The Steward’s House, which spans the entrance to the park, was originally part of the gatehouse close to the Hall. Built by Thomas Ripley in the 18th century, it is listed grade II*. It was built over the original kitchens of the earlier hall and substantial restoration has been required to bring this lodge back into use.
It is built around a small courtyard with two doors into the park and views over the horse -pond. Accommodation is over two floors. the kitchen and bathrooms are in contemporary style while the other rooms are furnished decoratively with luxurious use of period furniture, Persian carpets and contemporary and traditional paintings.
We offer all our guests a unique opportunity to view the main Hall during their stay.

BEDROOMS: 3 double bedrooms - one with 2 large single beds. All with Vi-Spring pocketed sprung mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets and goose-down duvets and pillows.
BATHROOMS: 3 bathrooms, one with cast iron bath all with Burlington basins and WC's and Hans Grohe rain-showers.
KITCHEN AND EATING: Solid oak hand made kitchen with island, Smeg refrigerator, Miele dishwasher and cooker with spacious eating area with glass table for 6.
LIVING: Ground floor entrance room with fireplace and upstairs snug TV room.
ENTERTAINMENT: TV with Freeview and DVD player in the Sitting Room. Board games and X Box and bluetooth speaker on request.
OUTSIDE: Charming terrace with table and chairs and barbecue.
